Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of the Nestic website, apps, and account services. When creating an account, you must read and agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not create an account. Questions can be sent to the Nestic admin through a private support request.

Your account

Provide accurate account information, keep your sign-in credentials secure, and use only accounts and nests you are authorized to access. You are responsible for activity performed through your account. Nestic is not intended for children under 13; do not create an account if you are under 13. If you are otherwise below the age of legal majority, use the service only with permission from a parent or guardian.

Your content and shared nests

You retain ownership of the notes, photos, and other content you submit. You give Nestic permission to store, process, and display that content as needed to provide the features you use, including sharing it with authorized nest members and caregivers. Only upload information or photos that you have the right and permission to share, including information about other people.

Nest owners and administrators manage access according to their roles. Anyone holding a temporary caregiver link may access the information and actions permitted by that link until it expires or is revoked. Share links carefully. A recipient may retain information they have already viewed or exported.

Acceptable use and safety

Do not use Nestic to harass, threaten, exploit, impersonate, or harm others; upload illegal, abusive, sexually exploitative, or rights-infringing content; expose someone’s private information without permission; or attempt to bypass access controls, disrupt the service, or compromise another account.

Report concerning content or behavior through the app’s feedback/report option or the Nestic admin through a private support request. We may investigate reports, remove content, or restrict accounts that violate these terms or applicable law. Private sharing does not make harmful or unlawful content acceptable.

Care history and predictions

Nestic is an organizational journal, not a medical, veterinary, emergency, or diagnostic service. Recorded entries are supplied by users. Forecasts are estimates from recorded history and may be inaccurate or unavailable. Reports are not a diagnosis or treatment recommendation. Do not rely on Nestic instead of professional care, prescribed schedules, or emergency assistance.

Subscriptions

Basic features remain free. Optional Pro features are described before purchase. For App Store subscriptions, Apple displays the applicable price, billing period, and purchase conditions, processes payment, and manages renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled in your Apple account settings. Manage or cancel them in Apple Subscriptions. Refund requests for purchases billed by Apple are handled through Apple. Deleting a Nestic account or uninstalling the app does not cancel Apple billing.

The Apple Standard End User License Agreement applies to the App Store app’s license. These service terms do not replace that license or reduce rights you have under applicable consumer law.

Privacy and account deletion

The Privacy Policy explains data collection, sharing, retention, and deletion. You can delete your account in Your nest → Account data. Deletion removes your account and authored activity according to that policy; shared nests and other members’ records can remain. Export any information you want to retain before deletion. We record the terms version and acceptance time when you create your account.

Availability and changes

We work to keep Nestic available, but network failures, maintenance, device limitations, and other disruptions may prevent access or timely synchronization. Keep an independent copy of information important to your care decisions. Features and these terms may change. Updated terms will be published with their effective date, and material changes will be communicated when appropriate. Nothing here excludes warranties, remedies, or other rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
